4-WEEKS ZOOM WORKSHOP (JAN 2024)
"Zoom-in into the portrait!"

An intense 4-weeks ZOOM course during which we will learn to observe, analyse and deconstruct the portrait, to reconstruct it again in a painterly, realistic way. Some of the learning points include:

  • how to paint the eyes, mouth and nose from different angles

  • painting the hairline and ears

  • how to mix and apply skin tones for different skin complexion

  • how to create an impression of changing planes with value or temperature shifts

  • tackling edges and transitions

  • how to paint different types of hair: red, black, blonder, ginger. Curly, afro, waivy, stright hair.

    Plenty of demos and paint-along sessions. Recordings of each session will be emailed after the class.

    Each session lasts 3 hour, + 15/30 mins Q&A at the end of the sessions. Online critique on personal work .
